Desert Mountain Training Programs

Desert Mountain offers a robust training program, one that might seem impossible to replicate at the average club. But the employee retention and customer satisfaction numbers make the effort on the front end worth every second and every penny on the back end.

Here is the breakdown of employee training at the club.

New Hire Training – Welcome to Desert Mountain Club – This onboarding training introduces all new teammates to Desert Mountain Club with an informative and interactive approach. This training encompasses an in-depth look at Desert Mountain culture, history, employee engagement, benefits and more.

Service Training – A three-part series hosted for all member-interacting teammates. This training focuses on Desert Mountain service standards and highlights ways to integrate standards into the member experience.

Safety Training – A monthly curriculum dedicated to creating a safe, effective and respectful workplace. All teammates participate in this virtual training program to ensure a workforce that is well-equipped with knowledge to operate safely and to respond to potential hazards in the workplace.

Leadership Development Program – Monthly development workshops for all leaders that target both hard- and soft-skills training. These workshops allow leaders the opportunity to consistently focus on personal and professional growth in a leadership capacity.

Internship Program – The club invites interns from around the nation to participate in a 10-week training program. This program provides participants an in-depth look into every facet of the club and supports their development through training courses essential to a new leader’s experience.
